In just one move, the ultra lightweight alpine backpack can be compressed via the shoulder straps to fit snugly against the body. The removable hip belt and removable chest strap guarantee a body-hugging fit even under a heavy load. Thanks to its ribbed mesh material and perforated foam, the Airvent Back System provides comfort and good air circulation. Ergonomically shaped, breathable shoulder straps distribute weight evenly across the body. The Ortovox Traverse Light also comes up trumps on the technical side of things: the shoulder straps offers three pockets with space to store a 500ml soft flask, a cell phone and trail bar. Ski poles and a helmet can be fastened to the backpack in next to no time. In the interests of sustainability, 72% of the outer material is made of recycled polyamide, making the Traverse Light extremely robust and long-lasting.
